The requirements for admission to LFIP on the first day of the school year, imposed by the Chinese educational authorities, have just changed according to the following conditions:  
­

 

A student or staff who traveled to China in a low-risk area and returned to Beijing on or before August 10, 2021 , no longer needs to take a PCR test to be accepted into the school on the first day of school.  
­ 

A student or staff member who traveled to China in a low-risk area and returned to Beijing on or after August 11, 2021, must complete a 14-day school avoidance period and a PCR test less than 48 hours before returning to school. The PCR test result must be uploaded to the student’s or staff’s Eduka profile in the “documents in your account” area by 6:00 p.m. the day before the student or staff returns to school in order to be taken into account.
If your child is enrolled in kindergarten, the day before your child starts school, you must upload a negative PCR test result from one of your child’s two legal guardians that is less than 48 hours old onto your EDUKA profile.

A student or staff returning from abroad must follow a 7-day school eviction measure in Beijing after leaving the mandatory 21-day quarantine and must perform a PCR test less than 48 hours before returning to school. The PCR test result must be uploaded to the student’s or staff’s Eduka profile in the “documents in your account” area the day before the student or staff returns to school before 6:00 p.m. in order to be taken into account.
If your child is enrolled in kindergarten, the day before your child starts school, you must upload a negative PCR test result from one of your child’s two legal guardians that is less than 48 hours old onto your EDUKA profile.

 

All other documents listed in an email sent by the school on Wednesday, August 18 are still required at the beginning of the school year:

 

    1.     – On the first day of school, when boarding the school bus or at the door of the school, your child will have to provide a paper copy of the twice-daily temperature record sheet taken during the 14 days preceding the start of the school year. You will find this form to be printed in the attachment.     1.   – On the first day of school, your child will have to present with his/her cell phone or one of his/her parents’ cell phone if he/she does not have a phone or in paper format (can be printed the night before), the green arrow of the WeChat mini-program attesting that he/she has not recently been in a medium or high risk area. This green arrow from the mini-program will only need to be presented on the first day of class.

 

    1.   – On the first day of school, when boarding the school bus or at the door of the high school, your child will have to present the Beijing Healthkit mini-program page with his or her cell phone or that of one of his or her parents if he or she does not have a phone, or in paper format (can be printed out the night before) if he or she does not have a phone. The Beijing Healthkit WeChat mini-program should be presented every day thereafter.
